Introduction
The Public Works Department, Kargil undertake the developmental activities in the District under the supervision of District Superintendent Engineer, with the powers of Chief Engineer and five Executive Engineers, In-charge of the five working Division with the following jurisdiction:-

Introduction
PWD Division 1st (I&FC) Kargil is situated at Baroo Kargil which is one of the original works department of District Kargil after becoming full fledged District in the year 1998.
